Peer review process
ConCiencia Scientific Journal selects peer reviewers who are professionals with proven experience in the subject matter of the scientific articles, thus ensuring a rigorous and specialized process. Reviewers must have a recognized academic track record and be committed to guaranteeing the quality and suitability of the texts submitted for publication. This process is conducted using a double-blind peer review model, protecting the confidentiality of authors and reviewers through the assignment of identifying codes. Comments and suggestions are submitted exclusively through a structured rubric in PDF and Excel format, with restricted web access.
Each reviewer assumes the responsibility of maintaining confidentiality regarding the content of the article they review, refraining from disclosing or discussing any aspect of it with third parties. Peers are expected to conduct a thorough and objective reading, focusing on the scientific content, methodological design, clarity of conclusions, and the relevance of cited sources. Furthermore, constructive, respectful criticism aimed at improving the text is encouraged, avoiding derogatory expressions or personal judgments. It is recommended to suggest relevant bibliography that strengthens the document and you are urged to carefully review the appropriateness of the language, the strength of the arguments and the currency of the references.
